Draft Strategic Land Use Plan
The Draft Strategic Land Use Plan has been completed and is on public display for 90 days, the public are asked to make comment on the Draft Plan to General Manager Mr David Philpott, PO Box 96, Boorowa NSW 2586.
This draft plan is a very important plan for the future land use strategy for all land in the Boorowa Council Local Government Area and needs to be read by every land holder, to have a clear understanding of what is proposed.
Council is preparing a new planning instrument to replace the existing Interim Development Order (IDO), that has been in place since 1975. The overall purpose of the Strategic Land Use Plan, is to guide the future development of the shire. The strategy will set out the strategic planning framework for the town, each of the villages and rural areas for the next thirty years,
